KU Leuven offers a fully funded Science Leuven scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year, providing €10,000 to cover tuition, insurance, and living expenses for master’s students. The Faculty of Engineering and its Alumni Association invite highly motivated international students to apply for this opportunity.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must not have previously studied or worked at KU Leuven.
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a non-Belgian university that qualifies them for the chosen master’s program.
- Applicants must not already possess a master’s or doctorate.
- Applicants should demonstrate excellent academic results; at least a “distinction” is expected during their studies at KU Leuven.
- Applicants must have strong English proficiency, evidenced by a minimum TOEFL score of 94 (with specified minimum scores per skill) or an IELTS score of 7 overall (with minimum scores in reading, listening, speaking, and writing).
- Applicants should show a clear motivation for pursuing a master’s degree within KU Leuven’s Faculty of Science.
- Applicants must provide two recommendation letters from internationally recognized professors.
- Applicants should have a genuine desire to serve as ambassadors for the program.

Application Process:
- Submit an application for your preferred master’s program through the KU Leuven application tool. Follow the application instructions carefully.
- Upload the following documents:
- A detailed transcript listing course titles, credits (ECTS), and grades. If a different rating system is used, provide an explanation.
- A brief (half-page to one-page) summary of previous or current courses that you find most relevant for the master’s program, following ECTS guidelines.
- Two recommendation letters from well-known professors.
- A motivational letter for the program.
- After submitting your master’s application, you will receive a confirmation email.
- Apply for the Science Leuven Scholarship using the provided link and attach your application confirmation email.
Your application will be submitted once you have received notification of being approved for the Scientific Leuven Grant.
